Not strictly. While 10KM or 10.000 steps are our shared impact goal, terrain and local routes may vary. The idea is to walk with intention—and track it if you can.

No, participation is free! We do, however, recommend a small donation of 10 €/10 $ to help cover event costs and plant trees. Every 5 €/5 $ donation plants one tree. Every bit helps!

Participation in the PlanetHike-Event is free. Wir encourage you and your employee to donate to cover regreenity’s cost and help plant trees where you work and live. Sponsorship packages are available at various levels, offering additional benefits such as brand visibility and engagement opportunities. We also offer flexible payment options to suit your budget.
Registration is simple. You can sign up your employees through our online registration portal, where you’ll provide participant details. Our team is available to assist with bulk registrations and any specific needs your company might have.
Environmental NGOs FAQ
Your NGO can partner with Regreenity by joining our fundraising initiatives, co-hosting PlanetHike events, or collaborating on environmental projects. This partnership amplifies your impact and extends your reach to a broader audience.
Partnering with Regreenity provides your NGO with 80% of the fundraising proceeds to support your initiatives. Additionally, 10% of the funds contribute to global reforestation efforts, and 10% cover operational costs. This collaboration boosts your visibility and connects you with a community passionate about environmental stewardship.
Absolutely! NGOs are encouraged to volunteer as PlanetHike organizers. This allows you to lead a significant environmental event in your city, engage your community, and raise awareness for your cause.
Schools FAQ
PlanetHike is a global initiative to raise awareness for environmental sustainability by organizing 10km walks aimed at planting trees worldwide. Schools can participate by encouraging students, teachers, and staff to join the event. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine physical activity with a cause that teaches students the importance of environmental conservation.
Registration for PlanetHike is easy! Schools can create a team of participants and register through our official website. Simply follow the registration steps and include your school’s name to keep track of your group’s participation. Participation is free.
